Bob Morgan passed away in Lake Orion on Saturday, August 23, 2025 surrounded by family and friends.  Bob is survived by his loving daughter,Jessica.  He is also survived by many friends including his best friend, Joe Devendorf.  He will be greatly missed by his nephews and niece, Ben Mertens, George Mertens, Eddie Miller and Maggie Miller, his in-laws, Linda & Ed Miller, and Jackie & Mike Mertens, and his cousins, Marcia Nixon and Lisa Mincarelli.   Bob is preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Leslie.  He is also predeceased by his parents, Edward and Marjorie and his brother, Donny.  Bob graduated from Niagara Falls High School and SUNY Brockport. He worked his entire career for the Social Security Administration in the Amherst, NY and Royal Oak, Michigan offices. He thoroughly enjoyed his retirement: golfing, traveling with Leslie, and his daily long walks around Lake Orion capped off with a beer with friends at the pub.  Bob was a man of incredible exuberance and charisma, known for making instant connections wherever he went. His ability to become fast friends with everyone in the room was remarkable. His friendships were numerous, and he was beloved by all who knew him. Bob will be remembered for his robust sense of humor and his hearty laugh. Bob was a one of a kind and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Jennings Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road, Penfield, from 4pm – 7pm. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 11 am at St. Joseph’s Church, 43 Gebhardt Road, Penfield.  A celebration of Bob’s life will also be held in Lake Orion at a later date.
