Richard “Dick” Rogers March 16, 1942 to August 22, 2025
With heavy hearts and immense sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved Dad and Grandpa, Richard “Dick” Rogers, of Seneca Falls, NY. Dick passed away tragically after a series of unexpected complications from surgery, fighting to the end with his trademark hardworking nature. He was a former prize-winning dairy farmer, Volunteer Firemen of 19 years and campground owner, and his absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt by his many loved ones.
A man of great resilience, Dick’s life was defined by his dedication and passion. As a dairy farmer, his work ethic and commitment to his craft were evident in his prize-winning accomplishments. Later, as a campground owner, he created a welcoming space for others, a testament to his warm and generous spirit. His legacy is not only in the land he worked and the community he served, but also in the countless memories he created with those he loved.
Dick is survived by his loving children, Mary Beth Rogers, Eric (Andrea) Ingerson, and Fred (Alisa) Ingerson. His memory will be cherished by his five grandchildren, Angel (Joe) DiMaggio, Lizzie Ingerson, Ryan Ingerson, Eric Ingerson II, and Jordan Ingerson, as well as his five great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his dear fiancé, Leah Kiesinger, who was a constant source of love and support.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathy Rogers, and his second wife, Carol Rogers, who shared many years of his life.
A Celebration of Dick’s life will be held at the Cody Volunteer Fire Department Hall from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday September 6th. Join us at Station One located at 155 County Route 55, Fulton NY 13069.
Donations can be made in Richard’s name to the Cody Volunteer Fire Department at PO Box 334, Fulton NY 13069 or via Venmo from the donate page of their site: codyfiredepartment.com. We ask please no flowers.
He will be loved and missed by many, but his spirit of hard work, love, and perseverance will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
