Carol is predeceased by her husband, Roger and 4 younger brothers. She is survived by daughters, Jennifer Hartmann, Jackie (Carl) Gigliotta, Jolene (Matt) Carotenuto; grandsons, Jon Carlo, Samuel Roger, Dylan Josue and Ethan Everett; brother, Dick Goodwin; her  beloved dog, Charlie; nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. 

Carol’s family was everything to her, starting with her husband Roger. Carol married Roger in 1958 and they worked together to save for, plan and create a home for their family.  While living in their home in Fairport they were blessed with three daughters and raising their girls was Carol’s greatest passion. She was a constant presence in her children’s lives, offering unwavering support, encouragement and unconditional love. Carol could always be found volunteering her time at her daughter’s school- she was a regular volunteer at the Elementary school where her girls loved to see her in the library; she helped with Blue Birds, Brownies, Girl Scouts and a variety of clubs and activities- all to support her girls.

Carol carried this love right on through to her grandchildren. She enjoyed nothing more than to spend time with them, always with open arms, encouragement and support for whatever they were up to.

Carol was the heart and soul of her family and will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

We love you more, and will miss you always.

Family and friends are invited to visitation at the funeral home on Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 3:00-5:00pm where a prayer service will be held at 5:00pm. Carol's interment service will be private.
