Sasha Podolsky of Rochester passed away on June 16, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. 

He is predeceased by his wife, Vera; parents, Naum and Elizabeth Podolsky; sister and nephew.

He is survived by his daughter, Elana Thompson; granddaughter, Katarina (Daniel) Saddlemire, great-grandchildren, Adaline and Bentley Saddlemire; great nephew, Boris Zarkhi.

Sasha came to the United States from the Soviet Union in 1979. He worked at Kodak for many years where he worked hard to provide the American dream for his family. Outside of work he was a musician his entire life and performed at many venues including JCC, Shadow Lake and Shadow Pines. He enjoyed spending his time with his family especially his two great-grandchildren.

There will be a service for Sasha on Thursday, June 19, 1:30pm at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road, Penfield. 

His burial will follow at White Haven Memorial Park.
