Obituary of Jeffrey A. Smith

Jeffrey passed away peacefully at the age of 74.  He is predeceased by his mother, Sara C. Smith (Casella) as well as uncles and aunts, Sebastian Casella (Lois), Angelo (Rose Casella) Vavonese, Joseph Casella (Florence), Samuel Casella (Agnes), Frank Casella, John Casella at age 18, Robert and Marge (Casella) Hutchinson, Charles and Mary (Casella) Gregory,  James Casella, and Louis Casella (Suzanne) 

Jeff is survived by his uncle and aunts, Robert Casella (Martha) and Roslyn Casella and cousins. 

Jeff grew up in East Rochester and spent many happy days at his grandparents' farm in Fairport.  He enjoyed retirement from BOCES after more than 30 years.  In retirement he enjoyed working with wood and building things. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., Church of the Resurrection, 63 Mason Road, Fairport where his Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Fairport.
