Beverly Joan (Honey) DiNatale, 84, of Rochester, NY, formerly of Snyder, NY, passed away on April 7, 2025, surrounded by her daughter Darlene, son in law Mike & niece Shayne, after surviving kidney cancer & finally succumbing to a courageous battle with lung cancer at St. John’s in Rochester. A service will be held Thurs., May 22 at 11:30 am in the chapel at Acacia Park Cemetery in North Tonawanda, where she will be laid to rest with her parents, followed by a luncheon at Rizotto in Williamsville.
Beverly was born in Buffalo, NY, the youngest of 4 children, to William & Kathryn Richardson on June 2, 1940. She went to Bennett High School & worked as a professional model, secret shopper & later as a care giver. Dancing was one of her joys; she taught ballroom dancing & won many dance contests.
She is survived by her daughter Darlene (Michael Micciche), brother in law George Hambruch & sister in law Joy Richardson, nieces Kathy (Donald) Witt, Beverly (Jay) Schuster, Joy Richardson (Burley Burris), Jeri Trakas (Tom Roche), Shayne Bauer-Ellsworth (Stephen Ellsworth) & Damon Hambruch & many great nieces & nephews, all of whom called her Aunt Honey.
She is preceded in death by her parents William & Kathryn (Kokanovic) Richardson, brother Harold Richardson, sisters Mary Ann Hambruch & Dolores Bauer & brother in law Robert Bauer.
Memorial donations may be made to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, Buffalo or Wilmot Cancer Center, Rochester. A paver is being purchased at Roswell with a collection taken by Darlene’s friends, with the inscription, “Beverly J. DiNatale, Beloved Mother to Darlene Cheryl, Always Loved, Forever Missed.” The family wishes to extend their thanks to Roswell & Wilmot for the wonderful care given to Beverly over the last 3 years.
