I've only known Meg a short time but she was a fighter and an amazing woman and mother. I am so glad I shared some memories with her and her family. She will be missed. Thoughts and prayers to you all.

She was one of the best 8th grade social studies teachers I had. She was very kind and handled us crazy kids very well. You will be missed Mrs. Staples ❤️

My son, Quinn, was a student in Mrs. Staples’ 8th grade social studies class this year. Unfortunately, he only knew her a few short months before she took leave in December. He and his fellow classmates were very saddened to hear of her passing. Our condolences to her entire family. Thank you, Mrs. Staples, for being an outstanding teacher to our children.

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Megan was such a warrior and though we hadn’t been close in recent years, she was always in my thoughts. From the moment we met as kids, she brought so much joy and laughter into my life, and I will always cherish those memories. Your family has always been incredible and I have no doubt that Megan was surrounded by love and care until the very end my heart is with you all during this difficult time.

Megan is my Second Cousin so our family connection brought us both to a wedding in 2014. I was so happy to see my cousins and have time to laugh, dance and reminisce together. I knew Megan was fighting cancer and I knew this cancer was a dark cloud hanging over her but this night was Fun and Megan was there to laugh and be together with Family and make memories that would last. It is a memory I cherish.
