Obituary of Laurie A. Bennett

Laurie Bennett, 66, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025, surrounded by family. Born June 13th, 1958, to Philip Caffare and Julie Verbridge.

She is survived by her longtime partner of 17 years, Terry Sigl. She is also survived by her three daughters, Tina (Chuck) Stanley, Jennifer (Phil) LaNasa, and Samantha Bennett and two sons, Austin (Denise) Carter and Adam (Lenda) Carter; as well as many grandchildren, Stephanie (Don) Hosie, Ashley (Hayden) Woods, Jacob (Shiloh) Root, Kylie Carter, Reece Carter, Isabel LaNasa, Mackenzie Carter, Lillian LaNasa, Taylor Carter, Julianna Stanley, Adelyn LaNasa and multiple great-grandchildren.

Laurie had a deep love for animals and enjoyed raising litters of kittens and puppies. She cherished vacationing with her family, going on cruises, as well as backyard pool parties. She also had a tremendous talent for gardening and decorating her home. Laurie dedicated many years of her life to working for the Red Cross as a Donor Specialist and Team Leader. She spent multiple years working at Livonia Veterinary Hospital as a Veterinarian Tech, in addition to a decade of running a private daycare.

Calling hours will be held in her memory on Sunday, March 2nd, from 1-3pm at Jennings Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home located at 1704 Penfield Rd, Penfield NY 14526.
