Obituary of Carol D. Barney

Carol Donovan Barney of Penfield passed away in the comfort of her home on January 26^th, 2025 at age 95. She was predeceased by her husband Francis Matthew and her son, Francis Robert. Carol is survived by her children: Brian (Donna), Karen (David) Lounder, Kevin (Karen), Sharon (James) Urckfitz, Lynn (Thomas) Blahuta, Jean (Tom) Anderson, Maureen (Brent) Hodges, Joann (Josh) Teuber, John (Kensey); 29 grandchildren:  Matthew (May), Jason (Courtney), Daniel (Alissa) and Ryan Barney, Andrea (Jeffrey) Daniels, Mark , John, Abby (John) Dunlap, Luke (Elena) and Katherine Barney, Patrick (Larissa), Sean (Lauren) and Brendan Urckfitz, Ben, Caroline, Elizabeth, Catherine and Sam Anderson, Henry, John, Jill, Owen and Ann Hodges, Nate, Jane, Charlie and Peter Teuber, Charlotte and Colin Barney; 14 great-grandchildren: Donovan Barney, Ella, Ava, Connor and Derek Barney, Carson and Anderson Daniels, Blake and Reese Dunlap, Eliza and Russell Barney, Lucas, Everly and Avery Urckfitz: several cousins and an abundance of friends. No prior calling hours. Friends are invited to Carol's Funeral Mass Thursday 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Church, 43 Gebhardt Road, Penfield. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Auburn, NY. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider St. Joseph's Church and School in Penfield.
