Obituary of Patricia Fulmer Conley

Patricia Fulmer Conley passed away at the age of 90, January 20, 2025. Pat was born December 7, 1934 to Harry Fulmer and Anna Zaccardi, the second oldest of three children. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings Frances and Margaret. Pat was born and raised in Brooklyn NY and spoke often of the independence she had from an early age.  She was introduced to her future husband David B Sanford by her Aunt Betty and Uncle Nick. The two were married in 1961, had two children, 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Pat and David enjoyed 32 years filled with laughter, entertaining and playing many rounds of golf together and with friends.

In 1996 Pat, at that time Patricia Sanford, married Robert Conley, a longtime friend and fellow golfer. The couple settled in Calabash, NC where they lived until 2023. Pat was predeceased by first husband, David and second husband, Robert Conley. She is survived by her son David Sanford (Sue) and daughter Patricia Boccuzzi (Ted) stepson Scott (Amy), stepdaughters Mary Beth Barnatones (Bruce) and Kristin Ferriter (Matt).

Pat was a long-time employee of New York State. Pat worked in the Rush-Henrietta school district at David Crane elementary school as a Teacher’s Aide.  She was happiest spending time with the children in her classroom and talked about “her kids” frequently.

Pat loved playing golf and spending time with friends and family. She especially loved the time she had with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid shopper and received many compliments on her wardrobe. She was a long-time member of Wildwood Country Club in Rush NY.

Family will receive friends and celebrate her life on Friday April 25th from 11:00AM to 12:00PM at White Haven Memorial Park’s Creation Chapel located at 210 Marsh Rd, Pittsford NY 14534. Please gather at White Haven’s front gate.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Rochester Regional Homecare and Hospice, St John’s Nursing Home, American Cancer Society, or charity of your choice. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Rochester Regional Homecare and Hospice and St John’s Nursing Home for the care they provided to Pat.
