Linda Weller McBride of Fairport, NY, passed away peacefully at Highland Hospital on November 21st, after a long battle with dementia. Linda was born in Rochester, New York, on July 19, 1939, and was the daughter of the late Frank and Mildred Weller.

She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, playing cards, and most of all spending time with her family and her beloved dog, Bandit. She is survived by her daughter, Lynette Kolb; grandchildren, PJ (Kathryn) Kolb, Shannon (Tim) Elie; great grandchildren, Emersyn and Camden Kolb and Blake Elie, niece and nephew, Vicki (Scott) Merritt, Steve (Tracy) Arriola, cousin, John (Mary Ann) Nelson and special friend, Richard Smith. She is predeceased by her husband, George, her sister, Ruth Arriola, and her son, David.

Linda was a devoted mother and grandmother who lit up every room with her smile. She was so loved and will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Golisano Children’s Hospital PICU, Humane Society of Rochester, or National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 2, 2024 from 4-7 p.m. at the Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road, Penfield, NY.
