Obituary of Eugene R. Renner

Eugene R. Renner Sr., "Gene-O" of Penfield passed away September 18, 2017 at 89 years old. Beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 60 years, Joanne Pescini Renner; daughter, Michelle Renner; parents, Orpha Sheasley Renner and Ellery Dygert; brother, Ellery Dygert; sister, Frances (Guy) Heerkens. Gene-O is survived by 5 children, Eugene Jr. (Kathy Briggs), Dianna Renner, Shirley (Glenn) Roat, Alicia (Peter) Quigley, David (Sabrina); 8 grandchildren, Jamie (Elena) and Courtney Renner, Charlene (Rob) Wills, Jolie Roat, Patrick (Megan), Katherine and Kevin Quigley, Camden Renner; 7 great-grandchildren, Miles Renner, Bailey, Sophie, Keira and Lily Wills, Jameson and Charlotte Quigley; sister, Eleanor (Carl) Delp; sisters-in-law, Elena (Patrick) Crough and Marisa Pascini; he was blessed to have been a part of the loving Embrey family. Eugene had 3 sisters he never met, but always searched for Alma, Edith and Elma Mae Renner. Eugene had a 40-year career at the American Can Company, worked at Embrey's Drugstore, drove school bus for Penfield Central Schools and was an active member of the Penfield Fire Company for over 60 years. Friends may call at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road, Wednesday 4-8 PM. Services will be held Thursday 10:30 AM at Penfield Fire Company Station 1, 1838 Penfield Road, Penfield 14526. Interment, Oakwood Cemetery.
