Obituary of David McMillian Holliday

David M. Holliday of Penfield passed away suddenly on April 2, 2017. David is predeceased by his parents, Garnett and Virginia Holliday and his beloved dog, Murray. He is survived by his wife, Beth; sisters, Anne Stich and Mary Lee Floyd; other family and many friends. David was born in Columbus, GA and grew up not far away in the town of LaGrange. He graduated from Furman University and Vanderbilt Law School. After practicing law in the Atlanta area for several years, he relocated to Rochester for a job at the former Lawyers Cooperative Publishing. He and Beth met there a few years later and married in 1992. They moved to Tucson, AZ in 2002 and enjoyed life in the desert, but decided to "come home" in 2011. At David's request he will be cremated and no Memorial Service will be held. However, a gathering to celebrate his life will be planned with details to be announced at a later date.
