Obituary of Kathryn S. Starke

Kathryn S. Starke of Brighton passed away peacefully on August 14, 2016 at age 95. Kay is predeceased by her husband, Charles and is survived by her children, Charlene Reeves and Dr. Jeffrey Starke (Dr. Joan Shook); grandchildren, Dr. Nathan Starke, Dr. Matthew Starke and Hannah Starke; sister, Doris Merritt. Kay was a retiree of the University of Rochester having worked at the Eastman School of Music and the Medical Center. Her family would like to express sincere thanks to Dr. Joseph Gasparino and the staffs of the Respiratory Care Center and Palliative Care Center at Strong Memorial Hospital as well as the staff at Hildebrandt Hospice Center. Family and friends are invited to call at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road, Penfield Thursday from 5-7 PM. Service and Burial for Kay will be held privately.
