I met Helen originally at St. Peter's elementary when my son attended there and got to know her better after I began working in the prschool there. She took such interest and caring in many. I especially grew to love and appreciate her as she carried herself through many trials, the cancer, the loss of her beloved daughter, unpleasant work related unfairness dealt to her. In all this her faith has only grown stronger. I will love and miss her.

Paula Foote, February 26, 2010
Helen has been a friend and confidant since 1981 when I walked into St. Peter's School to become a new first grade teacher. She also helped out my chidren , Tim & Kara, when they attended school there. She treated all of the children at St.Peter's like they were her own. Helen was a loving, Christian and courageous person. She will be truly missed at church as well as in the community.

My deepest sympathy to the entire Jennings Family. Great Children come from Great Mothers..Mrs. Jennings was a Great Mother!! Her love for God and Family will live forever in her children and Grandchildren.

Colleen Mulligan, February 27, 2010
Mrs Jennings was one of the strongest people I have ever met. No matter how poorly she might have been feeling she always had a smile for the children and cared about others first. Because of her care and concern , my dad lived a much longer life because of her directing us to the greatest cancer Doctors. Mrs Jennings was a great friend to Catholic Schools, children and all who were lucky enough to have known her. I will miss her!

Jim Dimbleby, February 27, 2010

We know it's always very difficult to "let go", however, we're very greatful that the long, hard battle is over. She put up an excellent fight and has now found peace with other loved ones in God's Kingdom. Know that she will always watch over you, occasionally perched on your shoulder. I truly believe there are "Angels among us"! God Bless You ALL with PEACE!

Helen and I became friends when my children Anthony Jr. and Annmarie Rotolo attended St. Peter's Elementary School during the mid 80's-90's. Helen played many roles at St. Peter's. She was the secretary, nurse, cafeteria monitor, grandma. You name it, Helen did it. She was a very loving and giving person. She helped many student as well as their parents with open arms and love. Mom, Tomorrow will be a month since you left and I miss you more each passing day. As much as it hurts having you gone I know that you are in a much better place and your pain is now ended. I still catch myself wanting to call you to see how your day went then I realize that I cannot do that. I pray every night for you and ask for your help to get through another day. I love you and I know that I will see you again someday. Mark.
